Susan Hartzler is up to date on the latest trends in marketing and public relations from traditional, tried and true methods of generating media exposure in television, radio, magazines and newspapers to new, social networking through the internet, blogs, facebook, twitter and iPhone apps. With 30 years of industry experience, she has developed an extensive network of contacts and has the knowledge of how to put together a newsworthy story on behalf of her clients.

Susan is an expert in all things canine, especially when it comes to products and services. She and her two pooches, Baldwin and Bliss, appear on tv shows http://www.youtube.com/user/StudioCPictures reviewing the latest products. Baldwin and Bliss are Therapy Dogs in Los Angeles and visit children in the Oncology Ward at County USC, Children of the Night and work with the Los Angeles Fire Department. In 2007, they entertained 100,000 people a day at the World Dog Show.

Susan is also an expert in the travel industry. Prior to opening Alpha Dog PR, she represented 4/5-Star Resorts such as St. Andrews in Scotland, the Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, Cousteau Fiji Islands Resort, JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa and many others. She has also worked with Pedigree and Whiskas Pet Food as well as promoting both major motion pictures and television shows in the entertainment industry. She began her career in journalism a producer at KFMB-TV News, the CBS Affiliate in San Diego.
