Susan HartzlerPresident

As a consumer pet product and service expert, Susan Hartzler is up to date on the latest trends for dogs from traveling with pets, food, fashion, medical breakthroughs, safety, issues surrounding elderly and handicapped canines, performance and sport dog topics, therapy and service dog organizations, all forms of training including dogs with children. She and her two pooches, Baldwin and Bliss, have appeared on tv shows with the latest products and have experience in Canine Freestyle, agility, sheep herding, dock diving and many, many tricks. Baldwin and Bliss are Therapy Dogs in Los Angeles and visit children in the Oncology Ward at County USC and also at Children of the Night. They work with the Los Angeles Fire Department visiting Elementary Schools providing live fire prevention awareness demonstrations.

Hartzler has developed an extensive network of relationships in the pet industry because dogs are her passion. So naturally, the subject is something she knows about from both a personal and professional basis.

Prior to opening Alpha Dog PR, she represented 4/5-Star Resorts such as St. Andrews in Scotland, the Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, Cousteau Fiji Islands Resort, JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa and many others. She has also worked with Pedigree and Whiskas Pet Food as well as promoting both major motion pictures and television shows in the entertainment industry. She began her career in journalism a producer at KFMB-TV News, the CBS Affiliate in San Diego.
